Do you ever look through the catalogs of some of your favorite home decor stores and wonder why things cost so much?  I don't know about you, but this family is on a budget.  I want nice accessories but not at a cost that's gonna stop me from putting gas in the car.

You see this cute little bird from West Elm?  He would look nice sitting on my coffee table but not for $14.00.  I like a bargain and some things I don't want to pay full price for.  I don't mind waiting until something goes on sale or making my own.

Enter my favorite store, Target.  I told you last week they were having a clearance going on and I got me some goodies I couldn't pass up.  For some reason, those red clearance stickers make me happy and I can't stop.  I was like a kid in a candy store.  I think I went in for soap or something and came out with a buggy full.  You can't tell me you haven't done this before.  I'm not the only one.  Anyway, I found this and knew he was going home with me.

After some spray paint, I have my own version, just no rocker.  That's ok.  He's cute sitting there looking out the window of my living room.

Once again, Target comes through and keeps me in the black.
