Interior designer Adelene Keeler Smith expresses her creativity in a multitude of ways. Having worked her way through design and style school as a professional facial, hand, and specialty size model, Smith lately wrote a young children’s book – “Sophie Gets Curtains!” available in 2013 as an iPad app, and is a pen and ink artist and watercolorist.
On graduation day, after earning her bachelor’s of science degree in interior design from Florida International University School of Architecture, she received an Award for Distinction from keynote speaker Adolfo Sardino, former fashion designer for Jackie Kennedy very best recognized for the pill box hat.
Smith founded Adelene Keeler Smith Interior Design in 2012 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Throughout her 18 years in the interior style profession, Smith has earned a quantity of awards for her operate, which includes 4 platinum awards from Dwellings of Distinction, Southern Accents Magazine’s 2008 National Design Award second place for a green style residential project, and 12 American Society of Interior Designers Awards for Excellence.
Her work has been published in Interior Style, Skilled Builder, Fine Home Builders, the Miami Herald, Philadelphia Home, Palm Beach Post, Palm Beach Illustrated, and Southern Accents.
She is an associate member of the American Institute of Architects and a member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
A popular guest lecturer and going to professor, Smith has appeared on PBS and HGTV.
