I must say that as an architect I was extremely impressed with this modern property, the Ipera 25, this modern day residential complex positioned in the historic and protected district Ipera in Istanbul. This house developed and completed by Alatas Architecture and Consulting, Ipera is a 10 flat developing that goes beyond the standard codes of the location.
The modern architecture attributes 10 stories with a total location of 1.100 square meters and the style concept pays respect to the environmental situations, social and financial circumstances and infrastructure common to the area.
This project provides a new point of view on private housing. The concrete walls and glass façade make this residence an industrial look and feeling and the wooden shell are gorgeous architecture element and a great resolution to shield the building from the sun.
Also perceived as a giant blind façade from an angle, the wooden surface can be seen as a tulle curtain that filters the light and works as an element that controls the sunlight .
The developing is created of fine reinforced concrete built about steel an concrete elements that are utilised in a composite manner.
