A century-old residence in Stockholm was transformed into a boutique hotel referred to as Ett Hem Hotel clad in rich colored wood, velvet and leather.
Studioilse was tasked to make this transformation achievable.
The constructing was initial constructed in 1910 and was previously a residence of a government official and his wife. Together, they gave the architecture its original arts and craft style along with the decorative ceilings and timber-paneled walls.
The renovation was carried out such as the series of communal locations where guests can loosen up with each and every other’s company. These public domains surround the kitchen that homes the large dining tables and various seating places – a correct masterpiece if you will ask me.
The entirety of this hotel design and style is like staying in a very large mansion with a really huge collection of books. There is also a library with enormous bookshelves extending into the ceiling in addition to the glazed conservatory exactly where the guests can keep for their meals.
According to the style firm, the idea followed was to produce a space that is comfortable as a house and can appreciate the place as if it was your friend’s property. The kitchen is also created that enables you to take your drink and loosen up at the sitting room, pick up a favorite book in the library and comprehensive the knowledge by snuggling down at the fireplace.
The stunning hotel is a spot for individuals who travel and required their accommodations to bring happiness and relaxation that they wouldn’t want to keep someplace else. The hotel has one duplex suite, 5 double bedrooms and 6 guest suites supplying a mixture of vintage and modern design and style elements with the furniture pieces such as the brass cocktail cabinet.
The incredible hotel has art and photography decorating the walls on all rooms and even the custom-developed pieces by Crawford are also incorporated in the hotel. (via)
