Its modern kind is a refreshing take on the row homes that line a lot of streets in the city.

“Sited on a vacant corner in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia, this property for a developing family stitches itself into the neighborhood by responding to neighborhood cues.

Curved brick corners negotiate the irregular street grid, even though the cadence of common rowhouses and a palette of brick volumes and stone bases are translated into a new vocabulary.”
