trigger on.  Last week I made a run in Target and came across these clearance napkins.  There are four in a pack and are 20 inches squared.  I knew I could make pillow covers from them.  They were the color I was looking for and the pattern was cool too.  They were also on clearance.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><span style="font-family: can be washed, especially with kids.  I could have made envelope covers but zippers are more my thing now.  With an envelope closure, you can only use one side of the pillow.  A zippered closure allows for use of both sides.  Using this <a href="http://www.centsationalgirl.com/2014/01/easy-throw-pillow-zipper-enclosures/" target="_blank">tutorial</a> for zippered pillow covers, I made two new pillow covers for the family room.  Instead of buying new zippers, I took them off old pillow covers I was no longer using.  I've told you about stocking up on feather pillow inserts at TJ Maxx.  I New H&M Pillow Covers

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Last week I ordered several new pillow covers from H&M Home.  They are for our loft that we are going to be working on soon.  I just recently discovered that H&M carries a home line.  I was pretty shocked.  I have a few pieces from their clothing line and the quality is ok.  You get what you pay for.</span><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br /><span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">I also stocked up on feather pillow inserts from TJ Maxx.  Trick is to wait until the pillows are marked down on clearance, buy them, and replace the covers with some of your own.  Pillows inserts are more comfortable and can be fluffed back up when you're done laying on them.  No more flat pillows.  It is a little bit of a splurge to replace all the existing pillow inserts with feather ones but I think it's so worth it. </span><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; New Family Room Rug

<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">It was time to make some changes in the family room.  Originally the accent colors in the room were blue and red.  The old rug was perfect as it combined those colors plus more so I could always change the accent colors if I felt.  That was my intention anyway.  I liked the old rug but the colors in it weren't my favorite anymore.  I wanted to start removing some of the red in the room.  I mentioned this to hubby and he was on board, as long as I could get rid of the old rug.  Not a problem!</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I begin searching for rugs that I liked.  I knew I wanted a graphic print in a neutral color.  I wanted to be able to switch up art or pillows without worrying about them clashing with the rug.  This trellis one from Target kept popping up.  If you remember a few months back I posted this picture on Facebook of the blue one.  </span><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc1/1002160_596852397042413_15360725_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://scontent-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc1/1002160_596852397042413_15360725_n.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I had bought it in 5x7 for the living rug but it was too small so it ended up going back.  They didn't carry the blue in 8x10 yet.  I checked Target's site every week hoping that they would eventually come to their senses and make this blue larger.  There was a tan in 7x10 but I didn't want anything in tan.  I wanted a contrast to the tan sectional.  Target finally made the blue in the 7x10 online but something else happened.  During a weekly Target run, I saw they now made a gray.  I loved it.  I was rug searching before I even began to really think about replacing the family room rug.  Remember, I was supposed to be looking for a living room rug since that room doesn't have one yet.</span><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I sold the old rug within days and I quickly picked this one up.  I couldn't wait to try it out.  It's like it was meant to be.  The darker color grounds the space and the tan sectional pops right off of it.  Just the right color and the pattern isn't too busy.  It's a low pile but it's comfortable under foot and doesn't shed.  The only thing is since it's darker, I can see the little fuzzies and random threads that get tracked onto it.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; Greek Key Pillow

Family Room Updates

<span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I originally used solid pillows for the family room.  I liked them for a while but they were so plain and it was starting to bug me.  I started the hunt for fabrics that were the same colors but would add more dimension to the space.  I told you before going into a fabric store is overwhelming for me.  I start to grab everything I like but I usually walk out empty handed.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I had come across Online Fabric Store through an online search.  They have really good prices and have some of the same fabrics you would find in Joann's or Hancock.  It was good for me since I can search at my speed and not have to rush into buying something.  I found some Waverly fabric that I loved.  It uses the same blue tone but has a pattern.  It is the Chippendale Fretwork.  </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I mixed this pattern with an Ikat pillow cover from Pottery Barn.  No, not an actual Pottery Barn pillow cover.  I made my own using one of their napkins.  No one says I can't have Pottery Barn look without the Pottery Barn price.  If you notice, most of their napkins and tablecloths coordinate with the pillow covers.</span><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="480" width="640" /></div><br /><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">TJ Maxx was having a MAJOR clearance that day.  I walked up and a lady had already claimed most of the furniture.  Upholstered chairs were marked $25 down from $150 and she had a couple nightstands that were also unbelievably low.  Had I been a few minutes earlier, they would have been mine.  I got a few other pieces as well.  I love clearance.  Now whenever I go in there, I hit the clearance section hoping someone got happy with the pricing gun again.</span><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;">I also changed up the paintings in the breakfast area.  The before pictures were nice but they didn't have enough
