In The Heart Of Madrid...

I'm smitten over this stunning apartment in the heart of Madrid, Spain!

I love how they incorporated lavish hints of gilded gold along with chic stainless steel.  Each room has its own flavor but it all flows and works perfectly!

I want to move in!

Friday Five

This week I wanted to share some of the lastest pins on my Pinterest boards.

1) This beautiful entryway caught my eye.  I like the neutral colors.  Makes me want to get on sprucing up mine.

2) How awesome is this washi tape wall.  If my daughter saw this she would so love it.

 

3) Since putting crates in the nursery, it's always fun to see how others have used them.  Here they are painted in bright colors and used to create this colorful bookcase.

 

4) I think we wall make excuses when it comes to working out.  I found it appropriate when I saw this.  It's been hard to get back in a workout routine since the baby's arrival.

 

5) The first day of school is almost here, and I saw these cute first day of school printables.

I love antique shops and flea markets - it's where you find that true one-of-a-kind!

Planked!

Hubby and I have been talking about the master bedroom to do list and one of the things he suggested was some sort of wall treatment.  I showed him some examples of planked walls and he liked it.  Planked walls can add so much depth and personality to a space.

We both like the look but may be a little too rustic for us.  We'll just have to see.  Do you like planked walls?

 

Sunday Favorites...

I love to take a day out of the week where I focus on having quiet so that I can reflect on things that mean the most.  If you think about it - there is always so much going on that keeps us from living in the moment.  Life is so much more meaningful and beautiful when we're grateful!

A Simple Life...

I love how homes are every bit as varied and interesting as their owners.
